The Panhandle No-till Parnership is a joint effort between the North Platte, South Platte and Upper Niobrara-White NRD's, the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), UN-L Extension, Nebraska No till Cadre,and Panhandle RC&D, to bring continuous No Till education opportunities to western Nebraska producers.

Since September 2007 the North Platte NRD has been working cooperatively with Panhandle No-till Education Coordinator Mark Watson of Alliance to help promote the concept and benefits of no tillage farming. Mark has been writing a weekly column that appears in the Scottsbluff Star-Herald's Farm & Ranch section each Sunday as well as other regional newspapers.
